Based on Queensland's stunning Gold Coast, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the workshop operates efficiently, technicians are supported to perform at their best, and customer expectations are consistently exceeded. About the Role As Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for coordinating workshop operations and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include : Coordinating daily workshop activities and workflow Monitoring and improving workshop productivity and efficiency Supporting, mentoring, and motivating technicians and workshop staff Allocating work effectively to maximise workshop performance Working closely with the Service Manager to achieve departmental objectives Maintaining high standards of workmanship, compliance, and customer satisfaction Assisting with workshop planning, scheduling, and resource management Supporting a positive team culture focused on performance and continuous improvement About You To be successful in this role, you will bring : Previous experience in a Workshop Controller, Foreman, Team Leader, or similar automotive leadership role A proven ability to lead and motivate workshop teams Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A professional, positive, and proactive approach The ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment A strong focus on customer service and operational excellence A current Australian Driver's Licence Why Join BYD Gold Coast?
